Two suspects arrested in connection with the murder of Nathan Wasama Masai have been charged with murder before the High Court in Bungoma.
Brian Chongin Kaos and Oscar Koech Sakong were charged with murder, contrary to Section 203 as read with Section 204 of the Penal Code.
The court released each suspect on a bond of Ksh1 million with one surety, or a cash bail of Ksh300,000.
Meanwhile, two other suspects, Geoffrey Makwere Masai and Robert Sisei Kimutai, were arraigned before the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Bungoma.
The two were charged with being in possession of ammunition, contrary to Section 89(1) of the Penal Code, as well as preparation to commit a felony, contrary to Section 308 of the Penal Code.
They were each granted a bond of Ksh150,000 with one surety, with no option of cash bail.
