Two people have been killed and six others injured following a road accident involving a Dreamline bus and a trailer along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway.
Samburu Police Commander Lydia Mambo said the accident occurred between Taru and Makina after the trailer broke down and was left stationary on the road without warning signs.
The Dreamline bus driver reportedly crashed into the trailer from behind, resulting in the fatal collision.
The injured victims are receiving treatment at Mariakani Hospital, while the bodies of those who died have been taken to the Makadara Hospital mortuary in Mombasa.
