Defending champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) are one win away from reaching the National Women’s Basketball Premier League final after taking a 2-0 lead against TH3 Swish in their semifinal playoff series.

KPA beat Swish 62-49 in Game Two at Nyayo Gymnasium in Nairobi last night, following their convincing 80-42 victory in the opening game a day earlier.

The result leaves KPA needing just one more win to secure their place in the final.

The series now moves to Mombasa, with Game three set for tomorrow at Makande Gymnasium, KPA’s home court.

If Swish force the series to continue, Game four will be played on Sunday, with a deciding Game Five scheduled for Monday if necessary.

KPA will be looking to close out the series in Game three and avoid the need for the remaining matches.
