The Chicago Bears defeated the Seattle Seahawks 34-17 at Lumen Field on Monday night, November 2, as running back D'Andre Swift delivered three rushing touchdowns to lead the visitors to an impressive NFL victory.
Swift scored all three touchdowns in the second half, helping Chicago overcome Seattle's attempts to fight back and secure its third consecutive win of the 2026 season.
The running back finished with 69 rushing yards from 27 carries, with his three touchdowns proving decisive in a contest that became increasingly competitive in the final quarter.
The Bears took a 13-9 advantage into halftime after quarterback Caleb Williams guided an impressive opening drive, completing a one-yard touchdown pass to Luther Burden III. Kicker Cairo Santos added two field goals to strengthen Chicago's lead.
Seattle responded shortly before the break when Sam Darnold connected with Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a 43-yard touchdown pass. However, Jason Myers missed the extra-point attempt, leaving the Seahawks four points behind.
Chicago extended its advantage in the third quarter when Swift powered into the end zone from one yard out, completing a 69-yard drive to make it 20-9.
The Seahawks attempted to turn the game around in the fourth quarter when Darnold found Cooper Kupp with a seven-yard touchdown pass. Seattle converted the two-point attempt through Horton to reduce the deficit to 20-17 with 11:46 remaining.
However, Chicago responded immediately. After a 39-yard reception by Kalif Raymond moved the Bears into scoring territory, Swift broke through for his second touchdown of the night, a five-yard run that restored the visitors' 10-point advantage at 27-17.
The Bears then capitalised on another defensive opportunity when James Lynch intercepted Darnold's pass, which had been deflected by Austin Booker, and returned it 16 yards to Seattle's six-yard line.
Swift completed his hat-trick moments later with another five-yard rushing touchdown, extending Chicago's lead to 34-17 with 4:41 remaining.
Williams also played an important role in the victory, completing 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards and one touchdown as he continued his impressive return from a hamstring injury.
Wide receiver Rome Odunze led Chicago's receiving effort with 87 yards from four receptions, while Colston Loveland added 65 yards from seven catches.
For Seattle, Smith-Njigba recorded 118 receiving yards and a touchdown from six receptions. Darnold completed 17 of 34 passes for 188 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Chicago's defence also restricted Seattle to 252 total yards, recorded three sacks and held the Seahawks to just one successful conversion from 11 third-down attempts.
The victory improved the Bears' record to 6-2, extending their winning streak to three games and strengthening their position in the NFC North standings. Seattle, meanwhile, dropped to 4-4 following its defeat.
The Bears will now turn their attention to their next fixture against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Soldier Field on Sunday, November 8, as they look to extend their winning run.
