Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna is set to take the Linda Mwananchi Movement’s message to Kenyans living in the United States through a series of engagements scheduled to run from November 20 to December 4, 2026.

The tour will take the senator and the movement’s team to several American cities, where they plan to interact with Kenyans in the diaspora on leadership, economic transformation and the future of the country.

According to a schedule shared by the Linda Mwananchi Movement, the first stop will be Allentown, Pennsylvania, where engagements are planned between November 20 and November 22.

The team will then move to the Washington metropolitan area, commonly referred to as the DMV, for meetings scheduled from November 23 to November 26.

From there, Sifuna is expected to travel to Texas, beginning with Dallas on November 27 and 28 before proceeding to Houston for engagements scheduled on November 29 and 30.

The final leg of the tour will cover Seattle and California between December 1 and December 4, bringing the planned engagements to a close.

The movement said the visit would provide an opportunity for Kenyans living abroad to take part in discussions about leadership and the country's economic direction.

The diaspora remains an important part of Kenya's economy, with Kenyans abroad contributing through remittances, investments, businesses and professional expertise. Such contributions have continued to make diaspora engagement a key issue in discussions about national development.

Through the planned meetings, the Linda Mwananchi Movement is seeking to connect with Kenyans outside the country and hear their views on the challenges facing Kenya and the changes they would like to see.

The discussions are expected to focus on leadership and economic transformation, while also allowing participants to engage with Sifuna on issues affecting the country.

The tour comes as political conversations around Kenya's leadership and future direction continue to attract attention among Kenyans both at home and abroad.

The movement has encouraged members of the diaspora to follow its schedule and participate in the planned engagements across the different cities.

The United States tour will offer Sifuna an opportunity to engage with diaspora communities across different regions, as the Linda Mwananchi Movement seeks to broaden its conversations beyond Kenya's borders.
