Kenya Power has announced a schedule of planned power outages across several regions on September 20, 2026.
The outages are part of routine network maintenance aimed at improving service reliability and network stability.
Customers in affected areas are advised to prepare for potential disruptions during the specified times.
In Nairobi, parts of Komarock and surrounding neighborhoods, including Quarry, Mbuyu Court, Acacia Court, Mihango, Spring Valley, and several areas in Kayole, will experience power interruptions from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly to mitigate any inconvenience.
In Laikipia County, areas such as Nanyuki Town, Tignithu Estate, Teachers Estate, and other surrounding communities will face outages from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The maintenance aims to enhance network performance and reliability in the region.
Meanwhile, in Garissa County, various neighborhoods including Bula Mzuri, Hodhan, Kunas, Garissa Ndogo, Bula Madina, and others will be affected from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The scheduled maintenance is part of efforts to strengthen the network infrastructure.
