In a public notice, the movement said all official communication concerning its activities, announcements and other engagements would be disseminated exclusively through its website and designated social media accounts.
The movement identified its official website as lindamwananchi.com, where members of the public can access information and updates regarding its activities.
It also listed its official social media platforms as Facebook, X, TikTok and Instagram, urging the public to rely on these channels when seeking information about the movement.
On X, the movement operates under the handle @LindaMwananchi_. Its Instagram and TikTok accounts are both registered under the username @lindamwananchi_, while its official Facebook page is listed as Linda Mwananchi.
The clarification comes as the movement seeks to establish a clear communication channel with the public and distinguish its official announcements from information circulating through other platforms and accounts.
LMM cautioned that any communication, statement or announcement that does not originate from the listed official channels should not be attributed to the movement.
“Any communication not shared on these official channels should not be attributed to the LMM,” the movement stated in its notice.
The public was effectively encouraged to verify the source of information before sharing or acting on statements purportedly issued by the organisation.
The movement’s social media presence spans several platforms, allowing it to reach different audiences through online communication. Its Facebook page, Instagram account, TikTok profile and X handle all carry the Linda Mwananchi identity and branding.
The announcement serves as a public clarification on where members, supporters and other interested parties should obtain authentic information about the movement.
