Ugandan legislators, led by Kassanda South MP Hajji Abdul Bisaso, have embarked on a one-week benchmarking tour in Kenya and Tanzania. This initiative, part of the MP Connect Fellowship, aims to foster diplomatic and peer-learning opportunities among East African nations. The delegation, comprising 25 members, seeks to exchange insights and best practices with their counterparts in the region.
The MP Connect Fellowship, organized by Faraja Africa, facilitates this high-level engagement. It provides a platform for legislators to explore governance models and legislative processes in neighboring countries. By visiting Kenya and Tanzania, the Ugandan MPs aim to enhance their understanding of regional integration and collaboration.
