Detectives in Parklands, Nairobi have arrested two suspects in connection with the alleged theft of property belonging to the Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen).
The investigation follows a report filed on September 14, 2026, after an HP laptop and an iPad were allegedly stolen from KenGen premises.
Acting on leads generated during the investigation, detectives traced and arrested the first suspect in Imara Daima, Nairobi, where they recovered several items believed to be of investigative interest.
The investigation later led officers to a second suspect, from whom an HP laptop was recovered. Verification of the laptop’s serial number confirmed that it matched the device reported stolen from KenGen.
The two suspects remain in police custody as detectives pursue further leads to recover the remaining stolen property and establish the circumstances surrounding the theft.
