The Social Health Authority (SHA) has directed healthcare providers across the country to complete the signing of new service contracts by September 30, which falls on Wednesday this week.
Providers are required to sign the new contracts to continue offering services under SHA for three years, from 2026 to 2029.
SHA said the current contracts will expire on September 30, and hospitals that have not signed new agreements will not be allowed to provide services under SHA.
Hospitals have also been directed to complete their applications through the SHA E-Contracting digital platform.
Facilities that fail to complete the process have been instructed to arrange for the transfer of patients undergoing treatment to hospitals with valid contracts to avoid disruption of care.
Under the new system, hospitals must have verified digital systems integrated with the Digital Health Agency’s system to continue providing services under SHA.
