People’s Party of Kenya leader Ndindi Nyoro has expressed strong support for a recent High Court ruling that nullified the sale of the government’s 15 percent stake in Safaricom Plc. The decision, delivered by a three-judge bench, declared the transaction unconstitutional, a move that Nyoro has praised as a victory for transparency and accountability in the management of public assets. Speaking in Ewaso Kedong’ in Kajiado West during a meeting with Atumore Maasai elders, Nyoro emphasized the importance of adhering to the court's decision by restoring the shares to State ownership.

He urged the government to cease the sale of public assets, which he claimed are often disposed of for personal gain rather than public benefit.
