A man has been arraigned at the Etago Law Courts and charged with eight counts of committing indecent acts with minors.
Jacktone Otieno Oyier appeared before Principal Magistrate F.M. Nyakundi, where he faced charges under Section 11(1) of the Sexual Offences Act, No. 3 of 2006.
The court heard that Oyier allegedly committed the offences on different dates between 2025 and 2026 at Nyatike Sub-Location in Gucha South Sub-County.
He is accused of unlawfully touching the private parts of eight minors aged between 14 and 17 years.
The case will be mentioned on October 5, 2026, when the court is expected to consider the issue of bond.
The hearing has been scheduled for October 8, 2026.
