The Linda Mwananchi Movement has appointed Pauline Njoroge as interim head of communication as it steps up efforts to reorganise its party structures and strengthen its presidential campaign secretariat.

In a statement dated Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the movement announced that the appointments were agreed upon during a leadership meeting held on Monday to review progress on the party’s rebranding process and the ongoing restructuring of its operations ahead of the presidential campaign.

Njoroge will oversee communication as the movement continues to build its campaign secretariat, drawing on her experience in political and strategic communication.

According to the statement, she has previously worked on presidential campaigns and with various government institutions and intergovernmental organisations.

Her appointment is expected to support the movement’s communication strategy as it seeks to establish its organisational structures and coordinate messaging around its political activities.

The movement also announced appointments to its digital media and publicity team, with Fredah Onduso, Abigail Gikonyo and Charity Waweru named to the Communication Department.

The three are expected to contribute to the movement’s digital communication and publicity efforts as it develops its campaign machinery and advances its rebranding agenda.

The appointments mark part of the leadership’s ongoing efforts to establish a functional campaign secretariat, with communication and digital publicity identified as key areas in the movement’s organisational structure.

The Linda Mwananchi Movement said additional appointments would be announced in due course, signalling that the process of building its campaign team is still ongoing.

The latest changes come as the movement continues to work on its rebranding and internal organisation, with the leadership reviewing progress and making decisions intended to strengthen its structures.

While the statement did not outline the movement’s broader campaign strategy, the establishment of its communication and digital publicity teams points to an effort to put in place the personnel needed to coordinate public messaging and media engagement.

Njoroge’s appointment places her at the centre of the movement’s interim communication leadership, working alongside the newly named digital media and publicity team as the organisation continues to shape its campaign structure.
