Kenya Power has announced that scheduled maintenance will lead to power outages in various parts of Nairobi County on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The outages are expected to occur between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
In Muthaiga, the areas impacted include the Israel Embassy, Muthaiga Mini Market, Karura Avenue, the German Embassy and Residence, the Belgium Embassy and Residence, the Italian Residence, the Indian High Commission, the USA Embassy Residence, Pax Manor, as well as sections of Limuru Road and Muthaiga Road, among other nearby customers.
Residents of South C will also experience interruptions, affecting locations such as Kongoni Primary School, Nairobi South Hospital, Razana Hotel, KMA Estate, Al Mubarak Estate, South End Estate, Mow Sports Club, the Kenya Red Cross, Toyota Kenya, KNFC South C, Boma Hotel, the Ministry of Energy (KAWI) House, MUA University, KPA Flats, Bandari Apartments, Next Gen Mall, Eka Hotel, Next Gen Park, Dafam Hotel, the College of Insurance, Amboseli Estate, Ole Sereni, and adjacent areas.
Additionally, parts of Komarock and Kayole will be impacted, including Quarry, Komarock Phase 1, Mbuyu Court, Acacia Court, Mihango, Spring Valley, Kayole Junction, Tushuariane, Kayole 1 Market, Kayole Police Station, Matopeni, Mihango Bus Stage, Kayole Posta, Jawaka Travelers Bar, and Kayole Nyaura Bus Stage.
Kenya Power has stated that these interruptions are necessary for their planned maintenance activities.
