Family Seeks Answers as Officer Missing for Eight Days

A family in Ebuayangu, Emuhaya Sub-County, Vihiga County, is appealing for government intervention after their relative, police officer Manase Ndakala, went missing under unclear circumstances eight days ago.

Ndakala, who is attached to Hobuyaya Police Camp, was reportedly with his family last Friday before he disappeared. His sudden disappearance has left his relatives worried as they struggle to establish what happened to him.

According to the family, they learnt of his disappearance through friends, prompting them to begin efforts to trace his whereabouts.

Reports have since emerged that Ndakala was last seen in Yala, but the family says it has yet to establish whether he was there or determine where he could have gone afterwards.

His mother, Florida Ayoma, said the family was struggling to understand the circumstances surrounding her son's disappearance.
