The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested another suspect linked to the violence and destruction witnessed during a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) delegates’ meeting at Nembure Grounds in Embu on Saturday.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday in Kithimu, Embu Town, during a coordinated operation by detectives from the DCI Headquarters Operations Support Team and the Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Branch.
The arrest comes as detectives intensify efforts to identify and apprehend other individuals suspected of taking part in the violence.
The DCI says all those involved in the unrest, regardless of their motive or political affiliation, will be arrested and prosecuted.
