The Kenyan community in Australia is mourning the death of 27-year-old Laurynhill Wambui, who died in a road accident in Western Australia.
Wambui, a Business Systems Officer and Edith Cowan University graduate, was involved in a crash along South Western Highway in Balingup on September 28, 2026.
She was a passenger in a Toyota HiLux that collided with a Nissan Pathfinder. Despite sustaining critical injuries, she died at the scene.
Her sudden death has devastated her family, friends, colleagues and fellow Kenyans in Australia, who have remembered her as a young woman with a promising future.
