A man has died after his brother-in-law allegedly stabbed him following a disagreement in Siandha A village, Gem Yala Sub-County, Siaya County.
According to an incident report filed by East Gem Location Chief George Salala, the deceased, Fredrick Oyungu Ombima, was allegedly stabbed by Wilson Atwoli at around 7:30pm on Tuesday.

The chief said the circumstances surrounding the disagreement between the two men had not been established.
Ombima was rushed to Ramula Level Three Hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police at Ramula Police Station were notified of the incident, after which the deceased's body was moved to the Yala Sub-County Hospital mortuary, where it is being preserved pending a postmortem examination.
Police have launched investigations into the incident as efforts continue to trace and arrest the suspect, who remains at large.
