Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation Eric Mugaa has joined residents in mourning victims of a tragic accident in the Riverland area of Meru Town.

Mugaa expressed sorrow over the incident, sending condolences to families who lost their loved ones and offering prayers for those injured.

In his condolence message, the CS said his thoughts were with the bereaved families as they deal with the loss of their relatives. He also extended his sympathies to friends and loved ones affected by the tragedy.

“May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace, and may God grant their families strength, comfort, and peace during this extremely difficult time of grief,” Mugaa said.

The Cabinet Secretary, who hails from the region, said he stood with the community as it mourns those who died in the accident.

He also wished those injured a speedy and full recovery, expressing hope that they would regain their strength and return to good health.

“May you regain your strength soon and return to good health,”

Mugaa prayed for God's grace to surround the affected families and for healing for those receiving treatment.

His message comes as families and members of the community mourn the victims of the Riverland accident.
