COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli has called for legal action against retired President Uhuru Kenyatta over allegations that he disclosed government secrets to the public.
Speaking in Elukanji Village, Khwisero Constituency, Kakamega County, during the official launch of a water project, Atwoli said it was unlawful for a former president to reveal classified government information.
His remarks were backed by Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka, who accused Uhuru of working with opposition leaders to undermine President William Ruto’s administration.
The statements come days after Uhuru claimed that the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga won the last General Election.
