A 50-year-old man has died following a late-night road accident at Nyamochiro Bridge in Suneka Division, Kisii South Sub-County, in an incident that has left questions about the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The deceased, identified as William Kerama, was the sole occupant of a vehicle that was involved in the fatal accident at approximately 1am on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
According to an incident report filed by the area assistant chief, Kerama was travelling along Nyangoge Road in a vehicle bearing registration number KBQ 862A when the accident occurred at Nyamochiro Bridge.
The incident was reported to police, prompting officers from Suneka Police Station to respond to the scene.
The officers, led by traffic police personnel, arrived at the location to establish what had happened and assess the situation following the fatal crash.
Upon reaching the scene, the officers confirmed that Kerama had died. He was alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident, meaning there were no other occupants reported to have been involved in the incident.
