Royal Mail Plans to Cut 2,500 Jobs by End of 2027
Royal Mail has announced plans to cut up to 2,500 head office and support jobs by the end of 2027 as the British postal company restructures its operations to reduce costs, simplify processes and respond to changing customer demand. The proposed cuts, announced on Wednesday, October 7 2026, will affect administrative and support functions across the business but will not include frontline postal workers and drivers.
