M-KOPA Reaches 10M Customers as Revenue Surges 45%
Pan-African fintech M-KOPA marked its 15th anniversary on Thursday, October 8, after reaching 10 million customers across Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. Strong demand for its pay-as-you-go financing of smartphones, digital loans and electric vehicles brought in three million new customers in the past year and lifted revenue 45% to about $600 million (Sh77.7 billion) in the 2025 financial year.
