The Coffee Board of Kenya says it is working with farmers and cooperatives to implement reforms meant to restore Kenyan coffee as the country’s “gold,” Board Chairperson Henry Kinyua said in Kirinyaga on International Coffee Day, as the 2026/27 coffee season opened on October 1 and the Board develops regulations to put the new Coffee Act into effect.
