President William Ruto begins a four-day development tour of Bomet and Kericho counties on Wednesday, with several infrastructure projects lined up for inspection and launch.

The President will start the tour in Bomet by inspecting the ongoing construction of Itembe Airstrip before launching the Kapkwen–Siongiroi Road in Chepalungu.

He will then visit Dr. Joyce Laboso Hospital in Bomet East to inspect ongoing road construction projects in the constituency.

In Bomet Town, President Ruto will hand over units under the Affordable Housing Programme before addressing members of the public.

He will later launch the construction of Tegat Road in Bomet East before proceeding to neighbouring Kericho County.

In Kericho, the President will launch the construction of Mindililwet Road in Sigowet–Soin Constituency, marking the final engagement of the first day of his four-day development tour.
