A 30-year-old man has died under unclear circumstances after collapsing at a barbershop in Koyonzo Market, Matungu Constituency, on Thursday.
According to witnesses led by Victor Nandwa, the man had visited the barbershop to have his hair cut when he suddenly collapsed and died before the barber could begin the service.
Police officers removed the body from the scene and transferred it to the mortuary at St. Mary’s Mission Hospital in Mumias, where it is awaiting a postmortem examination to establish the cause of death.
