Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has shared a glimpse of a luxury yacht outing in the United States, where he enjoyed an evening of dining and dancing with his wife, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi.
In a video posted on his TikTok page on Friday, October 9, 2026, Gachagua and his wife are seen arriving at a bay before boarding a yacht for an evening of entertainment.
The vessel features expansive floor-to-ceiling glass panels, offering panoramic views of the surrounding cityscape as the sun sets over the water.
Dressed in matching jackets, the couple were welcomed aboard by two attendants in white, who escorted them to a dining table as they prepared to enjoy their meal.
The video captures the couple settling in for dinner while taking in the scenery through the yacht's large windows.
After the meal, Gachagua and Pastor Dorcas were led to a dance floor, where they joined other guests for an evening of music and dancing.
The two held hands as they danced together, occasionally changing their moves while remaining close to each other.
Blue neon lights illuminated the dance floor, creating a lively atmosphere as the evening progressed and other guests joined in.
The outing offered a glimpse into the couple's time together during Gachagua's extended stay in the United States, where Pastor Dorcas has accompanied him on his scheduled engagements.
The video did not indicate how much the yacht experience cost, who paid for it or the exact location of the bay.
Gachagua left Kenya on the night of Wednesday, August 26, 2026, for an extended visit to the United States that his Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) described as lasting approximately 50 days.
He travelled with Pastor Dorcas, with the initial period intended to give the couple time to rest before beginning their political and diaspora engagements.
During the tour, Gachagua has been meeting Kenyans living in the US to discuss political and economic issues, diaspora participation in Kenya's development and his political plans ahead of the 2027 General Election.
His party has presented the trip as an opportunity to engage Kenyans abroad and gather their views on the country's future.
