Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly living a lavish lifestyle inside a federal prison in New Jersey, with fellow inmates allegedly cooking for him, cleaning his space and providing other services.
NBC News reported that four inmates who spent time in the same unit as Combs claimed he spends thousands of dollars each month to maintain the lifestyle.
According to the sources, some inmates prepare special meals for the music mogul, do his laundry, make his bed and clean areas before he uses them. One inmate was also allegedly paid to give him massages.
The report further claims Combs has accessed contraband cellphones, which he uses to browse social media and receive photos from outside prison and that he has a modified tablet that allows him to watch movies and documentaries.
Combs is also accused of having access to alcohol inside the prison and that he had drunk Hennessy with the former music executive.
The sources claimed Combs pays for some services through money sent from outside prison to other inmates' commissary accounts.
Combs, 56, is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transporting people for prostitution. He was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges.
His lawyers had pushed for him to serve his sentence at the New Jersey facility because of its drug treatment programme.
According to NBC News, Combs was later removed from the programme after being placed in solitary confinement following a fight with another inmate.
His spokesperson rejected the portrayal of his prison life, saying the media was presenting ordinary prison experiences as news. The spokesperson said Combs continues to serve his sentence while awaiting a decision on his appeal.
