Kenyan singer Bien-Aimé Baraza has unveiled the tracklist for his upcoming album, Alusa Continua, which is scheduled for release on November 20, featuring American rapper 2 Chainz, Nigerian singer Oxlade, Tanzanian singer Alikiba and several Kenyan artistes.
Bien announced the project on Monday, October 19, through his Instagram account, sharing the 17-song tracklist and inviting fans to pre-save the album ahead of its release.
“November 20th Tuko live. I’ve put my heart and soul into this project. I can’t wait to share it with y’all,” he wrote, encouraging fans to pre-save the album through the link in his bio.
The project features collaborations across different musical backgrounds, bringing together established international performers and Kenyan musicians.
Its tracklist includes Alusa Continua, All My Enemies Are Suffering, Signs, Omoka, Kaumbete, Don’t Go, Run Like Water, How Can I Forget, I’ll Be Okay, XOXO, P.O. Box Kakamega, Blessed, Mueni, Mayolo, Finale, Success and Ah.
Among the featured artists, 2 Chainz and Papa Gen Z appear on Signs, while Coster Ojwang features on Kaumbete. Don’t Go brings together Joshua Baraka and The Compozers, while How Can I Forget features Oxlade and Ontiri.
Other collaborations include Ywaya Tajiri on XOXO, Bryce One on P.O. Box Kakamega, and KayCyy on Mueni. Kenyan rapper Femi One and Papaa Maasai feature on Mayolo, while Alikiba joins Bien on Finale. Success features Tulwap Kipsigis and Nono Melodies.
The album announcement follows Bien’s career with Sauti Sol, the Kenyan band that established him as one of the country’s prominent contemporary music performers.
The group, whose other members are Savara, Chimano and Polycarp Otieno, built a regional and international audience through its music before Bien expanded his solo career.
Bien released his solo album ‘Alusa Why Are You Topless?’ in 2023, followed by a deluxe edition in 2024. His subsequent solo work has included collaborations with African artistes, reflecting his continued engagement with the wider continental music scene.
The upcoming album also includes Finale, his collaboration with Alikiba, which was released ahead of the full project in March 2026. Its inclusion on Alusa Continua connects the new album to a collaboration that brought together two established East African performers.
With the November 20 release date approaching, the 17-track project is expected to give listeners a broader look at Bien’s latest musical direction.
The combination of Kenyan performers and international collaborators places the album within the growing cross-border collaboration trend in African music.
